CLINICAL CASE
Extraction of deciduous teeth and guided bone regeneration of anterior mandible

Patient had deciduous anterior incisors which required extraction and guided bone regeneration to preserve the sockets. Once the bone has been restored, implants were prescribed to replace the missing teeth. The extraction sockets were filled with a mixture of InterOss® and allograft. Re-entry at 7 months post-bone grafting revealed new, solid bone where the defect used to be thereby enabling the placement of implants.

Here is an All-on-4 procedure with immediate implants and immediate loading performed by Dr. Marjan Stojanovski where he used InterOss®, InterOss® Syringe, and InterOss® Collagen. Notice how manageable to it was to deliver the bone graft to the defect site, may it be directly using a bone carrier, through a syringe, or as a block form that is also composed of collagen. InterOss® granules are highly porous and will hold their form once hydrated, making it easy to distribute them; a syringe enables their delivery without the need for sterile instruments, and, when combined with collagen, they will conform to the defect site effortlessly.
